Now I can understand how some days you can go and sit at El Carey and the day just drifts bye. People come through and sit for awhile and chat about whatever is happening or not happening in their lives. Then they leave and a new few come and sit for a new chat.. And the conversations are so diverse and thats depending on the time of day I imagine...But yesterday was just one of those days when the conversations were stimulating and extremely informative. Some people just have such interesting past lives and experiences some may be true and some may be embellished to suit the time of day. I take everyone at face value and if they tell me something interesting I believe it to be true... afterall I could be telling my story and depending on my day it could be true or a scene out of a Hitchcock movie. hahahaha. Although Im not one for stretching the truth (much) but you never know do you! But yesterday was interesting especially when the machines arrived to clean the beach.. What a mess there was from the storms we had. The debris was incredible! A bulldozer and a huge dump truck appeared on the scene. The bulldozer driver was a real cowboy... He wheeled that thing around like he was directing a toy truck it was aggressive and he had a purpose and was getting to it. Of course all the beach dogs went berserk chasing after the wheels...how they didnt get clipped was a miracle in itself... They loaded piles or almost small mountains of plastic cups, bottles, seaweed, sticks and every other kind of sea garbage you could only imagine.. And they were doing a good job of it as well. And the beach chair owners came with their rakes to help too.. Was a great effort by all involved. I continued to linger and take it all in. It was a non-stressed day thats for sure and I really milked it, its not everyday that I take the time to just be in the moment.. After having an interesting discussion on what I know best, which is real estate.. with someone there..I got my creative juices churning with some ideas for development. You never know when youll meet someone who could conceivably change the direction of your life. Or the possibility of a change in the direction it could go in. Im really excited about my ideas.. Can only hope for the direction to go UP!. But all things are possible if you believe... There is always a reason for everything... like my long non-stressed day at the beach....that was purposeful ...if nothing else it created some opportunities for the future.... I like that..
