Now, I have to say this at this point, I dont think GEJ - TopicsExpress

Now, I have to say this at this point, I dont think GEJ administration can survive the present oil glut, with U.S. Cutting off supplies from Nigeria owing to the discovery of the shale oil, the country depends on China and India as buyers of Nigeria oil, however, with the significant drop of oil prices seen around $108 at the beginning of the year to a value around $60 per barrel, who knows what the prices will suggest next year??, this is the more reason a country like Nigeria which has solely depended on oil and gas as a means of raising the gross domestic product (GDP) to be proactive in her decision making and governing style. Tremendous achievements from Notable Nigerians especially Aliko Dangote building a world class Refinery, Petrochemical and Fertilizer Plant at Olokola Liquefied Natural Gas plant in Lagos and the chairman of Zenith Bank, Jim Ovia building a Petrochemical Plant in Ibeno in Akwa Ibom State, what is the Nigeria Government doing at present?, these are privately owned companies for Gods sake, what measures have been taken to put the existing refineries in good working condition and optimum capacities, likewise, when will new refineries that can hold as high as 400000 barrels per day be built, when are we going to have or establish what is called modular refineries. Also, efforts should be centralized on Agriculture, large scale farming of corn, sugar cane, grains and others collectively termed Bio fuels which serve as substitutes for oil these days should be encouraged, Recycling technology of wates, old cars shredding and so on should be put in place, power can be generated from gas whether associated gas or non, gas can be found in gas reserves and coal reserves in the country should in case an end comes to Nigeria. These and many others can help combat the current challenges of oil and gas and will also oversee the unemployment issue among Nigerian Youths, if China, India and other countries that buy in to Nigeria crude oil stop the act, then, Nigerias oil and Gas goes into redundancy, the country should think of a way out of this present mess, but we have clueless leaders who only think of ways to enrich their pockets. Maybe GEJ and allies know of what to do and they wont do, only God knows, Now, lets forget political and tribal bigotry, religious and social economic sentiments, lets vote for change, since GEJ could not think of a way out and record notable achievements during his last 6 years of governance he shows ineptitude in all and gross incompetency, its better we give another man a great chance to oversee issues currently affecting the Nation from insecurity, power problems, political unrest, gross cabinet corruption and so on, either way, I would still prefer a technologically inclined person who is well updated as relating to currently happenings, not an Old man who has had a taste of power before, because what I see in Nigeria here is what I call Recycling Government, same people over and over again, this man might be archaic in his governing style, hitherto, Buhari seems to have gained popularity and the support of people, I dont know much about this man because Ive not been given birth to when he first governed but it seems he is upright and can be a great president, ordinarily, I would have loved to have a credible candidate from a neutral party who is a Technocrat, but with the current political atmosphere, Buhari seems to be the odd man out. If he can deliver, then lets vote for change. We need change in this country, PDP has failed us in the last 16 years of governance, its time to check another party out. Peace!!!.
