Now I know Im probably not the best person to be giving most people advice, but if Ive learned anything over the past few days, its that doing your research and making informed decisions is something you should insist on doing in pretty much every area of your life. After looking into riding elephants in Chiang Mai, I decided I wouldnt be doing it or supporting an organization that offers it. Instead, I visited the Elephant Nature Park today, a sanctuary that rescues elephants from the logging industry and elephant trekking camps. Just being able to hang out with such beautiful and intelligent animals all day, and getting to watch them roam free and just do their thing was absolutely incredible. Without a doubt one of the best experiences of my trip, and definitely one I can feel good about having. If you ever find yourself in Chiang Mai and get the opportunity to visit this beautiful park, jump at it. I promise you wont regret it. #elephantnaturepark #bethechange #chiangmai #thailand
