Now I know there is some debate that came about from comments that the media selectively broadcast as to his being racist which caused many to back off of their support however two things come to mind. First when you hear out the entire conversation it is not what the media would make everyone believe. Second is that it really isnt relevant anyway as its a rights issue where there are clearly constitutional issues involved that have been long ignored. Ignored clear back to when this state along with several others became part of the union. In this respect the eastern states dont have a bone in the fight because they are almost entirely under state authority. Many western states are not so fortunate in this regard though as the constitution was ignore. Nevada being the one that has it the worst as most of the state is considered federal land. Its so much that Nevada may as well be considered an extension of DC. Of course they dont want anyone to know that the federal government is constitutionally limited to that ten square miles as it would reduce their control over the western states. So now we reach what we have here with this Sheriff. My advise to the voters in that area? Get rid of him at the first opportunity as he doesnt care about your rights. No matter how you spin it he expressed a disdain for them at some point. It is was not by failure to attempt to stop the BLM then it was his claim that the people standing up over stepped and should be held accountable. Personally I think its both.
