Now accepting offerings of You Were Right at the altar of I Told You So! regarding Marvels Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D. Last nights episode was officially the first real episode of the show. Everything before last night could be considered prologue, as indicated in the previous episodes title The End of the Beginning. With Winter Soldier always on the horizon, its always been leading up to this Turn, Turn, Turn. I dont think any of you could have predicted how effectively Colsons team could be turned against each other, how quickly the seeds of distrust bear destructive fruit. Deathlok last week was super cool, absolutely accurate killer android action and now weve got The Clairvoyant revealed in spectacular, unpredictable fashion! (Thats one of the best things about this show: when they give an answer, its definitive, complete, and the narrative moves on.) Marvel is just going to keep on doing it right, better and better. Once those Netflix shows drop, all bets are off.
