Now by second grade they had the common sense to divide the class and we were a class of 24 in 1955-56. I loved Mrs. Barrick. She was one of my favorite teachers. First row from left ??, Cheryl Evans, Arletta Steen, Jean Satterfield, //, maybe Donna Chisham, and Diane Gray. Left second row, Tim Stockdale, ??., Gary Westbrook,??, me and then Dennis Caughenbaugh. third row up from left Gary Connors, last name was Dugan, Joe Esworthy,??, ?? last name connors, ?? Top row from left Bobby Pethel, Bob Carle, Tom Reid, ?????? She was a wonderful creative teacher. We had a store in the room to learn how to deal with money. She took us all to her house in Perryton for a picnic after school was finished and she took us to a spring. Some of us would sneak after from school and run down the hill and over the train tracks and buy candy during recess and didnt get caught.
