Now by second grade they had the common sense to divide the class and we were a class of 24 in 1955-56. I loved Mrs. Barrick. She was one of my favorite teachers. Top row from left Bobby Pethel, Bob Carle, Tom Reid, ?????? She was a wonderful creative teacher. We had a store in the room to learn how to deal with money. She took us all to her house in Perryton for a picnic after school was finished and she took us to a spring. Some of us would sneak after from school and run down the hill and over the train tracks and buy candy during recess and didnt get caught.
