Now days, its all about TV Shows and Sitcoms. Whether it is an hour series or a half hour situation comedy, they are general the same format. The show begins, a problem arises, the situation climaxes, and then works itself out in the end. A family crisis, medical emergency, weddings, marital problems, etc. All of these things and be fixed in an hour or less according to all of our favorite shows. Too bad life isnt this way. Its not that way at all! In real life, many situations can overwhelm us quickly. Often times, its small problems that just seem to mount up until we cant take it any longer. Some families get bombarded with sadness and trials all at once. Its like your family is a pinata and satan has the stick! These problems cant go away within an hour. Its just not that easy. We can, however, make it easier on us by turning it over to God. We have to learn to let go and let God. Our happy ending cant come in an hour and it may not even come within the year. We just have to keep our eyes focused on God during these times. We have to pray without ceasing. We have to unload the burdens from our lives and give them to God. He wants us to do this. He is use to the workload. No, real life trials and tribulations cant be fixed within the hour, like our TV shows, but with Gods help, they can be fixed. We can find a happy ending. Notice I said a happy ending. Remember, pray for Gods will to be done, not yours. It cant be your happy ending all of the time. God knows what is best for us. Just keep holding on. Take it day by day. During that time, however, pray to our Heavenly Father. Everything has its season. things will get better. Having God in your life sure does make that easier to grasp. If you are just a fan of Jesus, rather than a follower. If you are going through something right now and you do not have a sound relationship with our Lord Jesus, take the time right now to either rededicate your life to Christ, or ask Him into your life for the first time. There is rest for the weary, hope for the hopeless, and love for the brokenhearted. Just cry out to Jesus.
