Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses] (Hebrews 11:1 AMP). Faith is the evidence of unseen realities. Faith isn’t in the arena of assumptions; it refers to coming to the point of revelation knowledge that what you were hoping for is now yours. Just as you can’t see the Holy Ghost with your physical eyes but you feel His presence and are convinced that He’s real, the same way, you can relate with that house, that car or that job you’ve always wanted. When you’re at your “zero point,” you don’t have a job, your rents are due and you’re desperate for a change, the first thing that must change is your state of mind. If that doesn’t change, your physical state or your financial state is not about to change. You must change from the inside first! If your state of mind doesn’t change, you’re not about to experience changes in other areas of your life. If you want a permanent change, it’s got to start from within you with the Word of God. Otherwise, what you’ll have will only be a temporary change from which you’re likely to fall back into the same mess. But when you’ve become a possessor from the inside, you won’t need to cry for anything nor would there be a moment of despondency in your life. You can only “possess your possession” (Obadiah 1:17) when you discover from God’s Word that you’re the ‘blessed of God.’ This will change your walk, talk and mentality. You’ll square your shoulders, chest out, chin up, and put a spring in your steps, because you’re a victor in Christ Jesus. Now, that’s living in the God-kind of faith!
