Now here’s the song that was #1, a year ago this week back in 2013. It’s by Lorde, a woman who is among Time magazine’s Most Influential Teens of 2014. Lorde, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai are among the names who made Time magazine’s list of the 25 Most Influential Teens of 2014. The 17-year-old singer from New Zealand debuted on the list last year after she released her debut album Pure Heroine, and remains one of the most prominent young people in the world. The magazine says that the list is compiled using data about each teens: social media followings, cultural accolades, business acumen and more. Other musicians included on Times Most Influential Teens are Austin Mahone, Becky G, and Shawn Mendes. First daughters Sasha and Malia Obama join Kendall and Kylie as the second sister-pair on the list. Other notable entries include actress Chloe Grace Moretz, Modern Family’s Rico Rodriguez and Dancing With The Stars contestant Bethany Mota.
