Now is a good time to review your severe weather safety tips. Are you prepared? We expect a range of hazards all possible this week - flood/flash flood, damaging winds, hail, lightning, and tornadoes. Make sure you have a disaster kit ready to go! And just to note, if you ever do have to take shelter for a tornado/damaging winds, take your shoes (if your house is damaged, you do not want to walk across broken glass/debris without shoes!!) and a helmet, if one is available (many deaths in tornadoes are caused by head trauma).
