Now its MY time to shine … This past year has taught me a lot, far too much for a status, but mostly its taught me to not take things for granted. I THOROUGHLY appreciate all the kind words and wishes that have been sent to me, and I am so very grateful that despite everything ( mood swings, medications, tears etc ) Lisa Lindfield has continually stood by me and supported me. This is our first year of being together and its been an absolute roller coaster to say the least, Lisa started to get to know me just before I went right down with all this vascular stuff, and then I really did go down hill very fast. But shes still here, despite everything. She has shown me absolute love, and though weve had real tough times, and despite the fact that were very clear weve still got some ahead, shes continued to stand by me and support me. I just want to share with everyone that I truly love her and appreciate every single thing shes done for me. From phoning an emergency doctor when Ive been morphined up to my eyeballs, to buying me a puzzle board just to make me smile. From kidnapping me from the hospital to give me a break from the place, to coming upstairs just to give me a hug when I couldnt get out of bed. She is one in a million, and I love her with all my heart. Im getting stronger day by day, both mentally and physically and I want to promise you Lisa that I will NOT let you down. I am going to stand firm and insist they sort out the blockage behind my knee and fix me properly so that I can be even stronger, and I am going to get us what is ours, a life and future that we deserve. I love you Lisa. x
