Now that I figured out how to write this I wanted to say something. I am both extremely fortunate and grateful that I dont need a celebrity to tell me that I can be whatever I want to be and believe it. I had two amazing parents Becci Hicks DuBois-Gerber and Jerry DuBois who I remember telling me the same thing and because of them I know it to be true. Both of them were raised in less than favorable conditions but through hard work and devotion they managed to start and run successful businesses on their own. They raised me and my two sisters to know that absolutely anything is attainable if I put my mind to it. Although I am so glad that a man like Jim Carey has made it and encourages young people to strive for the same, I am grateful everyday that I was raised on the principles that these college graduates may be hearing for the first time. Congratulations to the class of 2014 but lets all as Americans kick some ass and not let the American men and women before us efforts be in vain. Always forward never backward.
