Now that I have an incurable disease I have done a lot of thinking - TopicsExpress

Now that I have an incurable disease I have done a lot of thinking back on the days of my life. About happy times with my wife and children and oh those grands and great grands, how quickly it has flown by. Looking back there are things I would have changed, but my love for my wife and children and grands could never be any greater. Of all the things in my life which I have done there is nothing that compares with my decision to obey the gospel of Jesus Christ. It took 52 years to obey and my God has taken me places I would have never dream of going or do. I am so glad He is longsuffering to show His love and His grace (2Pe 3:9). I can not imagine facing this up hill battle in a lost state, not knowing the out come of the end. For this I thank my God at all times who through Jesus Christ has taken away the sting of death! (1Co 15:55) I guess today was a down day for me but our twins have come to spend the night and worship with Joyce and I tomorrow, this is received as a blessing, they always put a smile on my face. My hope in life is still strong no matter what comes because I have been bought by Jesus blood (Ro 5:8; Jo 3:16) (Romans 5:5) Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (NKJV)
