Now that Ive had a few days to reflect... our Halloween party went without a hitch. An FA hitch, not an emotional hitch... Had a few rough spots with a parent that brought in doughnut holes that, admittedly, shed spent a great deal of time on - making them look very cool - spooky even. Unfortunately, she didnt clear them with the room parent & they were not an okay peanut/tree nut free food. And even more unfortunately she asked, well, cant Maddy just eat at a different desk. In my state, I nearly had an emotional breakdown. Maybe two days after seeing my child go into anaphylaxis and head to the ER in an ambulance, is not the best day to send Mommy to the Halloween Party.
