Now that actor Nargis Fakhri is out of theremake of ‘Shaukeen’, there are talks about ‘Aashiqui 2’ actor Shraddha Kapoorhaving the highest chance of bagging the role. The remake will have actors Annu Kapoor,Paresh Rawal and Anupam Kher who act as the three old men who try to impress ayoung dancer, and Akshay Kumar will be the taxi driver who is the boyfriend ofthe dancer. “Talks are on with Shraddha but nothing isfinalised,” sources told PTI. The film will be going on floors in April. SinceNargis is busy with her debut project in Hollywood, she asked the producers of ‘Shaukeen’remake to change the schedule dates which did not seem possible for the team. “I was very excited about ‘Shaukeen’ and wehad been preparing for a while now. There was another opportunity in thepipeline and we tried to work out the dates so that I could be a part of bothbut the dates were clashing. I couldn’t have asked the team to wait for me, soit’s heartbreaking but I had to let the film go. I was really excited to workwith the team of ‘Shaukeen’ and Abhishek Sharma, who is a terrific director. Thebond with the film and team members of ‘Shaukeen’ remains and I wish them allthe best,” Nargis said.
