Now that the ICC is here with us, some terminologies that we had forgotten like Mungiki & Kalenjin warriors, madoadoa, PEV, IDP s, Kiambaa,Turbo, tribal clashes etc are also back. This should serve as a point when we should reflect on how & what ended the violence that nearly drove is to nearly becoming a failed state like Somalia & Liberia. The last election proved that it is our leaders who ignite the so-called tribal, ethnic, land etc clashes. The same leaders failed to prosecute perpetrators locally & where it was done it was all shoddily done. The same leaders are now leading us out of the Rome Statute that put us in the safety of the ICC. Before you back them ask yourself where you will run to when they reintroduce us to fresh tribal animosity. Can they be trusted to prosecute agents they themselves sent to ignite the wars? Just food for thought brethren!
