Now that we are probably through with 2013 i wish to reflect on few issues of ma concern, the youth concern and the general concern of the people of Mbita sub-county. First we appreciate Hon Milly Odhiambo for touring the whole constituency issuing cheques to schools and other institutions and particularlt in Lambwe ward where i come from though i have few teething issues with Hon Milly and kindly can someone give clarification: The organization of Millys visit to Lambwe was poor infact in ma view it was 20%, the movement of Honorable was misinformed, infact we condemn the evil acts and occurrences both in Kayanja and Kipasi where the CDF chairman was abused in the presence of Hon Milly. We as the NYC Lambwe and Mbita are against any effort to belittle the chair and ask you Hon Milly to take caution in prior. leaving that aside can hon Milly tell us why the following has not taken place since she came to office: 1) the clearance of the budget of the Sub-county proposal 2013/2014 yet approval of the budget is 27th every month? Remember Mbita is the only sub-county whose budget approval remains in the County??? 2) Hon Milly has not done the overhaul of the departmental committees in the Sub-county to be specific Social assistance board, education board and CACC among others? 3) Hon has never attended DTC meetings in the district neither does she have the departmental plans in the sub-county 4)No meeting of ODM party officials meeting held in Mbita Having said that fellow youths and sub-county men, as an individual i feel Mbita is doing poorly on development and this requires concerted efforts of all of us to ensure we achieve the desired development, we must always remain objective on development issues and lastly support all the efforts that will positively change the lives of the common residents of Mbita people. I voted for Milly as the best bet for Mbita and we must engage her objectively, Onge panganga ka it is now for us or never. Yes pals discuss and let her know we are watching her
