Now that were all closed on the house (we have been for a month, but Im a slow sharer lately...I feel like Im doing the limbo 24/7 trying to move around Chriss work schedule, health, and 3 kids...and uh....just hating doing it, in general, because moving sucks. A Lot. I mean, we are HERE, in the new place. Its just I cant find anything, actually. And that we still have just a bit to move over from the other place, then deal with that place...Im so very...very tired. And I miss yall so very very much... All good!) Im totally ready to let you all know that if you, too, move...to be prepared to deal with a special, new kind of stupid. This entire process took an insane amount of time. I mean, we saw the property 4 days before HALLOWEEN...2013. And closed May 30th, after switching lenders because the last ones were a very special kind of...special. I do believe out of everyone we dealt with that is involved in this line of work (and remember, this place was as is and we were getting a loan, so it was a different situation)-there was ONE hired man that actually showed up, on time, did a thorough job, and was only 100 dollars over his estimate. Other than that, the only people I do NOT want to mail envelopes full of saliva to are an old retired trucking buddy of Dads that helped with work around Chriss work schedule that he couldnt get to, or Mom, my family helping family...yep. I wanted to murder pretty much everyone else. So uh...looking to buy? Oh honey...PLEASE ask me who to STAY AWAY FROM. Housing market the problem? Doubt it. More like the people you have to BEG to do their JOB and take your MONEY are the problem, for reals. Do you know how many times weve all gone... Wait. HUH?!?!?! through this process??????? And we are not even done, but at least THIS property is CLOSED on, old buddy old pal(s). When it comes to my property (not gonna speak for my parents) Ill hire the homeless dude that sleeps behind the Freds before I dial some of these numbers again. DISGUSTING. People are SO.LAZY.
