Now the ICC wants the Kenyan government, headed by two indictees, - TopicsExpress

Now the ICC wants the Kenyan government, headed by two indictees, to subpoena or compel eight witnesses to appear before them and testify against one of the indictees. Additionally, the same government should avail financial records of the other indictee to the court. The attorney general is a cousin of one of the indictees and has previously deliberately misinterpreted the law to protect his cousin, the CBK is run by a Mt Kenya cabal with blind loyalty to one of the incitees!.The only missing link , for now, is the Judiciary. Do you remeber the fist thumping and table banging episode in which one indictees displayed raw neonatal rage because his choice of the Chief Justice was not supported by the then speaker Marende (and ooh yes!, the speaker now is his bosom friend!). A canonical dictum in law is that justice must not only be done, but must be seen to have been done!. Even if the ICC were to have their way on these two issues, would justice be seen to have been done?
