“Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience and of faith unfeigned from which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling desiring to be teachers of the law understanding neither what they say nor what they affirm.” (1Timothy 1:5-7) Do you see what Paul is saying here? Teachers of the law do not understand! They have the same “blind leading blind” spirit those in Jesus’ day had. (Luke 6:39) They not only fall into a ditch but take others with them. But remember Paul said he would not have us be ignorant (Romans 1:13) rather we have been given the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16) and we have the gift of discernment (Hebrews 5:14) so we need not be deceived. “Do not suffer a teacher of the law to mislead you rather walk in the Spirit of liberty God has given you.” (2 Corinthians 3:17) Baruch HaShem Adonai
