Now the fun really begins.. Day 2 Tip 2 week 3 #handstandsforchristmas Bunny Hops 1. Start with your hips to your heels and shoulders behind the wrists. Taking a deep bend of the knees and an assertive exhale spring and hop the legs up. The shoulders should then land ontop of the wrists and you are thinking of your hips going ontop of your shoulders. Try for atleast 3 or four consecutive reps, aiming to get the hips a little higher on each rep. They can be quite tiring so take a break when you feel your form begin to flop and then go again for another round of 3/4 reps. Pointers for this one is to just go for it. Obviously you want to connect into your upper body and core but half of springing up into a healthy bunny hop is just having a can do attitude! Before you hop up look beyond your hands and then when you spring up into it, take your eyes between your thumbs. You definitely want to keep your legs together and bent at approx right angles. Be dynamic, bold and confident with these hops but of course one must still have a level of control so you dont start crashing around. Tomorrow we taking it one step further- using the wall though.
