Now, there are those who will poo-poo this grassroots backlash, try to marginalize it, or even say that it is meaningless. But the fact is, this grassroots backlash is now a growing movement and is having formidable political influence. As Ive said before, All politicians are pragmatists and will do nothing in the interest of the people theyre supposed to represent in lieu of the special interests unless forced to, like being voted out of office. Another fact that Id like to point out is that when the people begin to push-back, investors get nervous. When investors get nervous, they begin to pull out, or hold back. Without shareholder investment, these corporations cant expand their operations. When that happens, the grassroots people win. All the industry funded faux grassroots support and all the PR greenwashing wont change that.
