Now this my friends is a real life wonder woman. Let me introduce you to my new friend Lisa Gonzales Kerkez. Being diagnosed with breast cancer saved her life. They discovered she had a heart aortic aneurysm upon prep testing for treatment. Had it not been for her diagnosis and the testing she would have had a stroke within the year. She was rushed to surgery and literally cut in half and had her artery replaced. She recovered from that then in April had a double mastectomy and tomorrow starts chemo. I am in awe and speechless and not much can make me speechless. During her recovery from major heart surgery her employer fired her (this happens a lot). Oh yeah and she is a single Mother by the way. She is in the process of working on a fundraiser and I will keep you posted. After all that she has been through she still has a smile on her face and is full of life, I wanna be like her. Please add her to your prayer list and I am proud to call her my new friend and sister in this fight.
