Now this was an experience of a lifetime!! This was a major event for our family because it truly set the second phase of our mission together in this lifetime. We were able to go to the historic Kansai Ikeda Kinen Kaikan where Sensei led the famous Osaka Shakubuku campaign where under his tremendous effort at 28 years old, visiting 9,000 people in 1 year (going through 3 bicycles until each one broke🚲), and giving them personal encouragement to overcome their various problems which was similar to Detroit at the time, sometimes attending 26 meetings in a day he empowered countless people to work for the happiness of their local community to enable 11,111 households to join the Soka Gakkai in 1 single month forever changing the world. I cant tell you how deeply I have been wanting to come here but the most amazing thing is that we were allowed to Chant Daimoku and do Gongyo in front of the special Gohonzon that Presidnet Toda had requested for this center. Many of the translators who Live THERE said it was their first time they have ever been in the room, thats how rare it is to have that opportunity!!!!! (When Sensei first met with the leaders who thought the goal was impossible, he told all of them after Gongyo upon initiating this great struggle that they already had won!!! In which they eventually did. 11111 can represent the empowerment of 1 person to one person, heart to heart, 1 person overcoming their own limitations (doing human revolution) to another, what happens when thousands of people take one step forward together than 1 person taking a thousand steps.. and the importance and equality of all of our lives. The top central leader of Kansai, the top vice YMD leader, Mrs, Ikedas cousin who is the daughter of The late Mr. Shiraki who worked directly with Sensei to build Kansai from the ground up along with Motokos Mother and stepfather and 3 amazing international translators joined us and gave us personal guidance afterwards to win in our mission to develop Detroit. So impressed with the pure refined humanity that poured out of their lives, trained directly from President Ikeda that extended to our family. They gave us beautiful gifts and named November 23 the Detroit Phoenix Day and named us as the Detroit Phoenix Group!!! Im crying and shaking as I type this...the incredible honor and profound responsibility to be given especially in this global historic space...I dont know what else to say really. Im flying in the air right ✈️now but paid the $20 to have Wifi so I can immediately share this with you as im fighting right now, not waiting until I get back. Lol When we arrived they placed leis of candy around our necks and treated us with the most respect, when we walked into the meeting hall the top leader was standing right at the entrance with this most beautiful smile and kind gestures and words. You could see his Buddhahood emanating from his life, and everyone elses for that matter...everyone. The Gohonzon looked almost identical to the one in Daiseido, I was shocked and just put everything I could into it. I prayed for everyones eternal happiness and all my friends and the wishes that they shared with me, I chanted that Detroit would be the phoenix for Global change and shared that, I dont know if they immediately responded on the spot to that by naming our group or I was just in synch, regardless, I will devote my life to make this a reality as I owe it to Sensei. I cant express the depth of appreciation I have for Sensei in knowing how powerful his life is that this is an extension of his compassion and commitment to all of our happiness. Tremendous power and determination. We were all looking at each other after this exchange just speechless and stunned. What did I do to deserve this? It doesnt matter, what am I going to do now is the question
