Nowadays, internet is a very important component in our life. But have you ever think about when internet enters into our life and how is revolution? Today, let’s discuss about it. Indeed the internet/web can be dividing into three stages depend on the timeline. The first stage is called web1.0 which is from year 1990 to 2000. The key step during this period was the development of HTML (Hyper Text Make-up Language). It is a programming code which allows graphics including photos as well as text to be displayed on any computer. Moreover, the first web browser and the world’s first commercial web site have been invited and wildly used. It is provide the opportunity for people through internet to know the world. In addition, the website we current known like Google, Yahoo and Amazon were founded which given more functions for people to use and enjoy. The second stage is called web2.0 that from year 2001 to 2010. During this period Google, Amazon and eBay rose and grew rapidly. As the same time, web was beginning to become a commercial marketplace. Otherwise, during web2.0 time, the social networking platforms have been formed include Face book and Twitter which more emphasis two-way communication. Moreover, with the internet rapid development, the more functions has created by people’s need, like Wikipedia, MySpace and electronic book. Overall, during the web2.0 time, the internet is more recognised and widely used by people. From 2010-2020 is third stage of web development and it is called web3.0. The characteristic of web2.0 is intelligent include the semantic web, micro-formats, natural language search, data-mining, machine learning, recommendation engines and artificial intelligence.
