Nowy Kosciol, Poland. 795 gram, 115x116 mm. [Ed Pieters 2014] With t-eggs getting harder to find, especially in the railroad area (which is, after all, just a small strip of land between the railroad and road), you sometimes try something different. So last year Ed and his companions were poking a bit under the roads edge - and struck a nice pocket of quartz filled t-eggs! Quartz geodes are actually rather scarce in this spot, contrary to the Gozdno area, where they seem to be dominant. The greenish outer shell is another link with the Gozdno t-eggs. This specimen has some nice smokey quartz crystals in the center.
