Numbers 21:8 And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. Jesus was also held up for the World that those who believe Him will be saved! The People had to believe, to survive the serpent bites and if they did not believe they died. Faith was the power that gave them healing and lack of faith brought them death. John 3:14-15 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
