Nup, just cannot nail this problem my dog is having with his skin AT ALL. Its a periodical thing, but this is the worse it has ever been. Like extremely bad dandruff, and you can see raised bits all over his fur. If you scrape one of those bits it just flakes clean away, sometimes leaving it red and sore. Tried everything. Been to vets more than once. Inconclusive. Tried baths using various shampoos, including DermOpt antibacterial antifungal Dog Shampoo. Useless. Tried adding cocout oil to his food and coat. No significant change. Tried a change of diet. Didnt work. Currently waiting on some PAW Dermega Omega 3 & 6 Oral Supplement. After all I am truly out of ideas. His skin was never like that when he was a bit younger, perhaps it is just with age? Dunno. Feel defeated.
