Nutrition tip - Increasing the amount of calcium in your diet may result in higher amounts of fat being expelled from your system. In other words, more calcium rich foods consumed may lead to a drop in weight due to less calories being available to the body as energy. Being mindful of calories consumed, eating low fat yoghurts or drinking low fat milk can be a way of adding extra calcium to your diet and as a result may lead to you losing weight.
