O Captain! My Captain! What news to hear this morning. Mrs Doubtfire is one of the earliest films that I remember watching from a young age over twenty years ago, technically when I first discovered Robin Williams, and to this day it still gets me in hysterics and moves me to tears all at once - an absolute joy. I was mesmerised by how many hours of footage that they got for the Genie in Aladdin because they let Robin Williams just roll with it - his contribution to the film inspired animators to create one of the most marvellously creative animated characters of all time. And of course, not too long ago on Facebook I wrote that I re-watched Dead Poets Society and I said that it was the film that inspired me to study English for my undergraduate degree, partly because his Mr Keating made studying Literature seem so glorious: https://youtube/watch?v=vq_XBP3NrBo
