O.K. O.K.! Todays been Something else! To put a positive spin on it, this day has been a reminder of just how smoothly things usually run on a day to day basis. At seven a.m. my father-in-law yells up the stairs for his breakfast (he rarely does this, usually I wake him anywhere between ten and eleven a.m.). Going to the stairs to answer him, Asante barely misses all the kitty barf gently cascading down the first two stairs. By eight a.m. we begin to notice that the house sure feels downright cold, well, thats because the alternative oil heater hasnt kicked on. It hasnt kicked on because our landlady forgot to inform us about it when we moved in in April and so we never knew to get the oil tank filled! Hilarious! I never even was aware we had an oil furnace! We are thrilled that we have electricity and three space heaters so we wont freeze. But by two in the afternoon Im ready to curl up with a new book that I just purchased online, but hey, my kindle wont download it! After an hour on the phone with tech support, the problem is solved! Forget it world, Im leaving! Off to nap I go! It is now four in the afternoon, the oil delivery truck has yet to show up. No, I am not asking what else can go wrong. I know theres always a colorful answer to that one. Yes, Im counting my blessings! My daughter Indra spoke with me on the phone today and I feel so much love! It is sunny out! We are performing this weekend and now the oil delivery truck is here! Yay! What an Interesting, Slapstick day…Wonder what the celestial forecast is, maybe Ill look it up...
