O Timothy, keep that which is committed to your trust, avoiding profane, vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called, which some professing have erred concerning the faith. 1 Timothy 6:20-21 "Science falsely so called" They have "erred concerning the faith." I read an article awhile ago showing the things science taught in years past which were contrary to the Word of God, and that eventually on those issues, many years and further study proved the Word of God indeed to be correct and that the pronouncements of "science" had been very, very wrong. The greatest error of current-day science is its insistence on "the theory of evolution." God clearly states in Genesis that he is the CREATOR, and that message is carried forth throughout the Word of God. And that is a fact, not a theory. Since the discovery of DNA, the great error of "the theory of evolution" has become obvious. Each type of animal has a set of chromosomes that differentiates it from all others. Birds cannot breed dogs because the DNA of each is unique. The most variation that the DNA in a bird can produce will only be seen in colors, size, and things common to birds. A bird will never produce anything other than a bird. Indeed, the Scripture says that each replicates "after its own kind." And God made the beast of the earth AFTER HIS KIND, and cattle AFTER THEIR KIND and every thing that creeps upon the earth AFTER HIS KIND, and God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:25 Mutation in genes will cause abnormalities in the animal, but will never make it into another KIND of animal. And mutations ONLY produce changes that are detrimental, never beneficial to the organism, and that fact alone totally makes impossible "the theory of evolution." Finally, there are no fossil records of animals in the stages of becoming something else. Every kind reproduces ONLY its own kind. God said it in his Word, and science will eventually have to submit to God.
