:O......just :O *jaw continues to stay open in shock for a full minute* The biggest snake on record today is 33 feet long, it is an anaconda. A fossil was found of a snake in Colombia. 43 feet long, weighed over 2500 pounds. I WANT TO OWN THAT SNAKE. But its dead.....and anacondas are illegal in the US. Sighs, I will just have to settle for a reticulated python. Averages out at 18 feet fully grown, possible 24 feet. I will have it. Also, for you aracniphobics, on the same sight I found out this information, I also saw a picture of the largest spider in the world. Its called a Giant Huntsman spider, biggest by size. Or the Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula, biggest by weight. Here is a picture of both for your viewing pleasure. The one on the hands is the huntsman.
