O loving and kind God, have mercy. Have pity upon me and take away the awful stain of my transgressions. Oh, wash me, cleanse me from this guilt beofore the #New #Year ahead. Let me be pure again. For I admit my shameful deed-it haunts me day and night. It is against you and you alone I sinned and did this terrible thing. You saw it all, and your sentence against me is just. Create in me a new, clean heart, O God, filled with clean thoughts and right desires. Don�t toss me aside, banished forever from your presence. Don�t take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me again the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you. I ask Your forgiveness and repent Lord for ( state the wrong doing or sin ). I have purposed in my heart to actively fight temptation using Your Word so that I do not continue to sin. Father, I know that sin separates us and I want to be close to You. I want to be a man after Your own heart like King David was. Strengthen me oh God, so that I may keep Your laws and statutes written on my heart. Help me to read Your Word and rely upon Your Word regularly, because it is Your Word that keeps me from sin. Finally Lord, today I forgive anyone who has offended me in the past. Any wrong doings against me, both great and small, I now forgive this day. I recognize that if I do not forgive others, then neither will You forgive me. I thank You for Your mercy and I thank You for Your grace Lord. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray and declare these things, for in your #Holy name i pray amen.
