Rufons Sermon: A Time for Confrontation * Family Sunday- a time for confrontation- Joshua 24, 2014 ~ as the family goes, so goes society. If the family is destroyed or neglected, it will have a devastating effect on society. * The family has to serve the Lord with sincerity. It should hold on to this acronym: F- faithful heart A- affirming faith M- meditating mind I- immovable commitment L- laboring hands Y- yearning & yielding desire * Confrontation by choice must be right, responsible & timely. We have to be ready for the consequences of choosing. * Choose you THIS DAY whom you will serve. * Be careful about the ff.: ~ feet- where they go ~ hands- what they do ~ eyes- what they see ~ lips_ what they say ~ ears- what they hear * Put away other gods- Todays idols are more on the SELF rather than on the SHELF.
