OBSERVE LIQUOR TRADING HOURS The General Public and Liquor Traders are hereby reminded that the Official Trading Hours as stipulated in the second schedule of the Liquor Regulations, Regulation 8 (1), will prevail during the Festive Season, as follows: 1. A Bar Liquor Licence authorizes the sale and consumption of liquor on the licensed premises between 1400 hours and 2200 hours from Monday to Thursday,1400 hours to 2300 hours on Friday and Saturday, and 1500 hours to 2200 hours on Sundays and Public Holidays. 2. A Bottle Store licence authorizes the sale of liquor to members of public for consumption off the premises between 1000 hours and 1900 hours on Monday to Saturday. On Sunday and Public Holidays no Bottle Store shall be open. 3. A Wholesale Liquor and Distributor Liquor Licences authorize the sale of liquor for consumption off the premises between 0800 hours and 1700 hours on Monday to Saturday. On Sundays and Public Holidays no Wholesale Liquor and Distributor Liquor shall be open. 4. A Discotheque/Night Club Licence authorizes the sale and consumption of liquor on licensed premises between 1900 hours and 0000 hours from Monday to Thursday, 1900 hours and 0200 hours on Fridays and Saturdays, 1500 hours to 2200 hours on Sundays and Public Holidays. 5. A Club Liquor Licence authorizes the sale and consumption of liquor on the licensed premises between 1400 hours and 2200 hours from Monday to Thursday, 1200 hours and 2300 hours on Fridays and Saturdays, 1500 hours to 2200 hours on Sundays and Public Holidays. 6. A Liquor Depot licence authorizes the sale and consumption of traditional beer on the licensed premises between 1400 hours and 2200 hours from Monday to Thursday, 1200 hours and 2300 hours on Fridays and Saturdays, and 1500 hours to 2200 hours on Sundays and Public Holidays. 7. No liquor shall be served in restaurants except between 1200 hours and 1430 hours and between 1830 hours and 2230 hours on a daily basis. Licensees are also reminded that intoxicating liquor should be served only to bona-fide diners in the restaurants. 8. A Temporary Liquor Licence for festivals and other public activities authorizes sale of liquor between 1400 hours and 0000 hours on Mondays to Saturdays. 9. A Temporary Liquor Licence for a picnic authorizes sale of liquor between 1200 hours to 1900 hours on Mondays to Saturdays. 10. All liquor business operators and/managers are therefore advised to observe and comply with the provisions of the Liquor Act and its Regulations as stated above. Dont Drink and Drive!
