OCCASION: MEN OF HONOUR CONFERENCE VENUE: DIVINE DOMINION CHRISTIAN ASSEMBLY HEADQUARTERS, BENIN CITY. DATE: SATURDAY 17TH AUGUST, 2013 PREACHER: PASTOR L. AYEMERE. TOPIC: FOUNDATION FOR DIVINE ADVANCEMENT. TEXT: Daniel Chapter 3 verses 16 to 18; 28 to 30 1. Take a decision for God ( Dan. 3: 16 – 18) Decision decides advancement. 2. Develop an inward persuasion to follow Christ no matter the circumstances (Dan. 3: 18) 3. Know the consequences of your decision and take responsibility for it (Dan. 3 :30. Every decision we take has positive or negative consequences. 4. Recognize your gift and use it for a Higher Service to God. 5. Get Revelation. (Gen. 26: 1-4) In the world today, only very few people are thinking, the majority are depending on the revelation of the very few. You can never know what God can do with you until you surrender fully to Him. WHAT PUTS OTHERS AHEAD OF YOU IS WHAT THEY KNOW THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW. 6. So seed of obedience. (Gen. 26:12-13) Sow a seed of obedience in obedience and reap bountifully. God waits for us at the point of obedience and any day God gives instructions, it is for our uplifting, whereas the instructions we disobey drags us back, God can never do anything for us until we obey an instruction (1 Chro.22:12-13)………..Pastor S.O. Ebhojie, (General Overseer). 7. Do what you have not done for God before and see what you have not seen from God before. 8. Believe that you own nothing before God and that God owns everything you have. 9. Be involved in God’s dream. Let what concerns God concern you always. 10. Have a right attitude and right motivation towards the work of God. The right motivation produces the right innovation which ultimately leads to higher promotion. 11. Have a room for the Master Builder in your life. (2 King 4:9-10;34). This will enable you reap the benefit of accommodating the Master builder in your life. 12. Don’t be too conscious about what people are saying about you. Be only concerned about your relationship with God. 13. Forget the past (Isa. 43:16-18) Remember not the past things and learn to give up the effect of past events. 14. We must be born again (John 3:16). 15. Learn to forgive. CONCLUSION: The Old Testament said “love your neighbour as yourself” meaning that the love you have for yourself is the measure of love you should give to your neighbours. But our Lord Jesus Christ in the New Testament said that “we should love the world as He loved us” the measure of Christ love for us is that He died in our place for our sins. Agape love is what we have been commanded to have for each other. God is always angry anytime we stop depending on Him. Agape love is always angry anytime you don’t lean on it. Agape love is never tired of bearing each other’s burden…………………Pastor Charles Onovbayo. PRAYER: GOD WILL OPEN UP RIVERS INTO YOUR DESTINY IN JESUS NAME……..AMEN.
