OCY Tiger Shark Swimmers are set for major competitions starting Wednesday, August 6th. We have swimmers in three locations competing at the highest levels all over the country. In Richmond, Virginia Sean Cook and Carter Osborn are swimming in the USA Swimming Eastern Zone Age Group Championship. Sean swims the 50 breast Wednesday, the 200 breast and 50 fly on Thursday, the 100 breast on Friday, and the 50 free on Saturday. Carter is swimming the 50 back on Friday. Both boys will be up for selection to swim on relays for New Jersey. In Irvine, California Zachary Molloy and Jacob Limaldi are swimming at the USA Senior National Championship. They will be competing with the best swimmers in the country, names such as Michael Phelps, Ryan Locthe, and Missy Franklin. Zack swims the 100 free on Wednesday, the 200 on Thursday, and the 100 Fly on Friday. Jacob is doing the 200 breast on Thursday, 50 breast on Friday and the 100 breast on Saturday. In Pasadena, California Robert Griswold is swimming against international competition at the 2014 Paralympic Pan-Pacific Championship held at the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center. He will be swimming in the S9 IPC class for the 400 free on Wednesday, the 50 free on Thursday, the 100 free on Friday and the 100 back on Saturday.
