OFFENDED Many of us center and base our entire life around a belief system we have no knowledge of. We have never actually investigated it, in some cases weve barely read anything about it. We were merely TOLD ABOUT IT. The stories were passed down from our ancestors who in turn had these beliefs forced on them by their slave masters. So, in short, we base our entire lives on stories given to us by people who hated us and only gave us things to make us better slaves. Now, when our belief system is challenged, WE GET OFFENDED. Getting offended has become a convenient excuse to shut down and close our ears when we should be doing the exact opposite. I USED TO BE THIS WAY, because I was unable to defend or even explain much of what I believed. Instead of admitting it, I would shut down...and live on in denial. BLACK FOLKS error when we become successful as individuals, allowing our success to convince us of a thing being good for us collectively. Capitalism is designed for individual success. Any intelligent person can study the ruthless methods of achieving success in this country and accumulate unbelievable wealth...while the rest of your race suffers. This applies to every facet of a European based society; politics, religion, education, finances. None of it is designed for the betterment of us. It is designed for you. This is why there are soooo many filthy rich yous in this country that do absolutely nothing for us who suffer and die everyday by the hands of a system that all but pushes us into the poor house...and grave.
