Canvas of the neighborhood resulted in locating an additional ten residences with damaged mailboxes. Areas included Monroe Manor Road, Shi Lane, Larch Place, Cloverfields Drive, Petinot Place and Kimberly Way. Damages were estimated to be over $1000. DEPUTY: Deputy Kevin Parks ASSIST: Dfc. Jason Rickard CASE: 13-35607 *************************************** INCIDENT: Theft / Burglary DATE / TIME: 11/24/2013 @ 1043 Hours LOCATION: 100 Block of First Street, Chestertown (QA) VICTIM: Stephanie Jennings of Chestertown NARRATIVE: Victim reported her John Deere 720 Lawn Tractor missing from her attached garage. The tractor was last seen on the 20th and is valued at $10,000. DEPUTY: Deputy Chris Ahern CASE: 13-35615 ************************************** INCIDENT: MDOP DATE / TIME: 11/25/2013 @ 0734 Hours LOCATION: Foxtown Road, Sudlersville VICTIM: QA County NARRATIVE: County truck parked on Foxtown Road overnight was vandalized with three slashed tires and offensive graffiti painted on in several places. Damages were estimated at $900. DEPUTY: Dfc. Jessica Kellogg CASE: 13-35687 ************************************* INCIDENT: Possession of CDS DATE / TIME: 11/25/2013 @ 1501 LOCATION: Kent Island High School ARREST: 2 Students CHARGE: Possession of CDS / Possession of Paraphernalia / Disruption of School Operations NARRATIVE: Odor of marijuana was reported. Investigation resulted in developing two possible students. Search of backpacks by school personnel resulted in the seizure of a small amount of CDS and a smoking device. Both were released to parents and referred to Juvenile Services. DEPUTY: Deputy Chad Hartmetz CASE: 13-35772 ************************************* INCIDENT: MDOP DATE / TIME: 11/26/2013 @ 0749 Hours LOCATION: 400 Block of Love Point Road, Stevensville VICTIM: Matthew Eliza of Stevensville NARRATIVE: Victim reported that his 2013 Toyota Scion had been “keyed” during the night. Damage was estimated at $500 - $1000. DEPUTY: Deputy Rudy Draper CASE: 13-35853 *********************************** INCIDENT: Domestic Assault DATE / TIME: 11/26/2013 @ 1331 Hours LOCATION: 900 Block of Chester River Drive, Grasonville VICTIM: Benjamin P. Clough of Grasonville ARREST: Eva Maxine Jones (55) of Grasonville CHARGE: Assault 2nd Degree NARRATIVE: Deputies responded to the residence for a domestic assault. On arrival they met with both subjects who reported they had been assaulted. Ms. Jones stated her hair had been pulled, been pushed to the ground and her purse was knocked off of a table. Mr. Clough stated he had been struck in the groin with a cane, that Ms. Jones had jumped on him, and been struck on his arm. He also stated she had thrown his laptop and iPad on the floor and had been stomping them. Ms. Jones was placed under arrest and removed from the residence. She was processed and charged with assault. Mr. Clough was also charged on a Criminal Summons for assault. DEPUTY: Dfc. Seth Ambrose ASSIST: Dfc. J. Kellogg CASE: 13-35891 ************************************* INCIDENT: Burglary DATE / TIME: 11/27/2013 @ 1514 Hours (Reported) LOCATION: 100 Block of Legion Road, Millington VICTIM: Chastain Brooks of Millington NARRATIVE: It was reported that unknown person(s) had broken into the residence sometime in the past three weeks and that several drills, pictures, a large television, a lamp and some gold jewelry. Items were estimated at $1150. DEPUTY: Deputy Chris Ahearn CASE: 13-36000 ************************************ INCIDENT: Theft DATE / TIME: 11/27/2013 @ 1545 Hours LOCATION: 200 Kent Landing, Stevensville VICTIM: K Mart ARREST: Pending CHARGE: Theft NARRATIVE: Store Security reported that they had stopped a 35 year old female from Chester as she was attempting to leave the store with unpaid for clothing items valued at $82. She had been released by the store personnel prior to the deputy arriving. Theft charges were applied for with the District Court issuing a criminal summons for Crystal Ann Braun. Service of the Criminal Summons is pending. DEPUTY: Deputy Kevin Parks CASE: 13-36003 *********************************** INCIDENT: Domestic DATE / TIME: 11/28/2013 @ 0901 Hours LOCATION: 115 Blue Jay Court, Stevensville NARRATIVE: Deputies responded to the Cracker Barrel parking lot for a domestic. On arrival the driver of a Chevrolet van was complaining of neck and back issues after a Nissan passenger car had backed into the side of the van. Paramedics were on the scene treating the man. Deputies then met with the occupants of the Nissan and learned that a female passenger and the driver of the van were separated and had been for an extended time. The Nissan occupants advised they were parked and saw the van drive by and then returned stopping behind the car blocking it in. The van driver exited his vehicle and started to yell, curse and make threats to harm them. At that time the Nissan driver backed up to get away and struck the van causing minor damages. Witnesses at the scene gave similar statements. The driver of the van was taken to the Emergency Room in Grasonville. Charges are pending. DEPUTY: Deputy Kevin Parks ASSIST: Dfc. Jason Rickard CASE: 13-36059 ************************************** INCIDENT: Domestic DATE / TIME: 11/28/2013 @ 1920 Hours LOCATION: Chesapeake Drive, Stevensville NARRATIVE: Deputies responded to the residence after it was reported that two subjects were arguing over a cell phone call. Both subjects claimed they had been assaulted. One of the parties agreed to leave and both were advised of their options thru the court system.
