OFFICIAL INFORMATION FROM ROSS POLICE REGARDING LEVEON BELL AND LEGARRETTE BLOUNT: ...a traffic officer with Ross Police was traveling north on McKnight Road on his police motorcycle when he smelled the odor of marijuana. As traffic moved he identified that this smell of marijuana was coming from a black Camaro. He completed a traffic stop of this car and they pulled over in the Pool City parking lot. The driver of the car was identified as Le’Veon Bell and the front seat passenger was LeGarrette Blount. There was a female in the back seat of the car. The car was registered to Mr. Bell. A Ziploc style bag of marijuana was found in the car that is estimated at about 20 grams. The three individuals in the car admitted to collectively possessing the bag of marijuana. Mr. Bell was taken to UPMC Passavant for a blood draw under the suspicion of Driving Under the Influence of marijuana. All three individuals were polite and cooperative with the police investigation. All three individuals were released and at this point we anticipate charging all three with the possession of marijuana and an additional charge to Mr. Bell for DUI of marijuana. These charges will be sent by summons via the US mail.
