OG Makes History: Napoleon Hill Foundation Napoleon Hill was born in 1883 in a one-room cabin on the Pound River in Wise County, Virginia. He began his writing career at age 13 as a “mountain reporter” for small town newspapers and went on to become America’s most beloved motivational author. He wrote the book entitled “Think and Grow Rich” in 1937 and over the years it has sold more copies world-wide only second to the Bible. This powerful book is based on 17 important principles that millionaires over the years have claimed they have used in order to achieve great wealth and success (and continue to use to this day). While the title implies that this book deals only with how to achieve monetary wealth, the author explains that the principles taught in the book can be used to help individuals do or be almost anything they want in this world! Many companies over the years have tried to get this type of endorsement from the Napoleon Hill Foundation but none have ever achieved it. Even companies like Ford and Wrigley who are talked about in the book didn’t achieve it. Microsoft wasn’t able to get it even though Bill Gates, Sr. (father to the infamous Bill Gates) is the lead attorney for the law firm that represents the Napoleon Hill Foundation (crazy right?) However, when Organo Gold approached the Napoleon Hill Foundation with a possible collaboration, NPH went over the Organo Gold business plan and company concept with a fine-toothed comb and decided that this company was truly basing its business model on all 17 principles in the book and decided to give it the endorsement! This speaks volumes to Organo Gold’s integrity and its mission to become the “Most Admired Company in the World” (not to make the most money or sell the most product).
