OGUN WEST AGENDA-WE HAVE NOT DERAILED I have been reading - TopicsExpress

OGUN WEST AGENDA-WE HAVE NOT DERAILED I have been reading series of comments since it became obvious that Hon Akinlade will be moving to PDP some weeks back . Many were apt to describe it as a re invention of what happened in 2011 when General Olurin and Gboyega Isiaka locked horns in PDP and the eventual splitting of the party into PDP and PPN. For those who can analyse political events and activities properly without mischief , you will agree with me that the present scenario had been too far from this and that what we presently have is not a recap of 2011 episode but rather a healthy development that further put our agenda in a better pedestrian except we are selfish and economical with the truth. As a student of history , Iam trained to put issues in perspective. The events of yesterday should teach us lessons and we in Ogun west can say that we are more wiser than we were in 1979,1983,1999,2003 and 2011. Part of the lessons of 2011 was our one way approach in PDP; our non showing of strong presence in other party apart from PDP and of course our over reliance on power of incumbency despite the obvious prevailing circumstances of crisis within the ruling family . We seems to forget all these while we continue to over flog the division between Olurin and GNI as the mono causal factor. People are still telling us to ronu at this stage of our progressive match. Of course, we have done that before the commencement of this trip and we seems getting nearer to getting result if not, you would have seen the third leg in this contest. As at today, our situation is controllable and reasonable. I can assure you that all the elitist youth still have a meeting place, common goal and our leaders are not polarised along unhealthy rivalries. As at today, multiple aspirations hitherto reminiscent in Ogun west has now shifted to central and of course nobody has been asking the Egba to ronu. Out of the eight aspirants in Ogun guber race, 4 are from central while one is still warming up from the sideline, two from Ogun west and one from Ogun East. The distribution of the candidates and the dynamic of 2015 election showed our strength rather than weakness . APC has Governor Amosun seeking a re-election ,while inclusion of Remi Bakare and Fola Adeola all from ogun central may not be totally jettisoned , in Labour party, where we have five governorship aspirants, three of them namely, Sarafa, Lipede, and Adesina are from central while Ogun west and Ogun East have one candidate each GNI and SK respectively, in PDP out of the three aspirants , Dimeji Bankole and Amusan are from central while Ogun west also has only Akinlade. Is this not fair enough and realistic from our past history Before we can comment further lets await the results of the party primaries and the choice of flag bearers in the three parties , I can assure you God is taking absolute control of our matter. The only thing all well meaning Ogun west indigenes and those who really love us should do at this moment is to strongly appeal to our brother and a strong believer in Ogun west agenda comrade Olaposi Oginni to pull out of the labour court case matter and convince his other compatriots Bode Simeon and Arabambi to consider same in the overall interest of the people of Ogun west and the change which we all desire in Ogun state.
