OH DEAR! After my promise to try to be more patient with others, I posted this today. I deserve your impatience with me! So heres what I said: Oh, give it up, Colleen. Please. How on earth do you think Obama could have FIXED all of this? And what DEAL are you talking about? If youre going to bash your President, making you and all the rest of us seem as if we dont even understand how our government works, at least back up your assertions with proof that what youre saying is true. Know that Obama is NOT the one who is capable of fixing anything; he can try to convince Congress and others of what he believes is the right way to go; he can appeal to the American people; and he can explain his ideas every chance he gets. BUT he CANNOT fix or make deals with anyone! Thats not his job, nor is it his purpose or, for that matter, within his power as President. He can veto bills that Congress sends to his desk, but this president has not (so far) taken this route very often. You make yourself look ignorant when you say such things. You need to go back to your high school government book to see how this system actually works: Who or what entity (Legislative or Judicial or Executive) has which powers and how decisions are made in this country!
