OH...THIS STORM! I want to share an update with you about this storm. The latest model runs: the NAM and the GFS have shifted the axis of heavy snow to the east...suggesting lower accumulations for our area. Very tough forecast and it all depends on the track! This storm starts as a clipper, moves eastward and then develops offshore. Therefore, there is very little time for rapid intensification for our area. Yes, this storm will strengthen up the coast, but it may deepen too far to our east. I just want you to know all the possibilities. The EURO model comes in overnight and David Murphy will have any updates Monday starting at 4am! We will watch this.
