OK - I have a really big mission for the Spice Girls community. There are loads of videos that we need in HQ as well as loads of videos that havent been shared at all. Im asking any Spice Girls fan with old VHS that theyve recorded or traded to please see if they have any footage that hasnt been made available before or has only been available in LQ (under 680 x 420pxl) and either rip it and share it or you can send the VHS to me and Ill rip it and share it in HQ. I can convert PAL videos as well as NTSC so Im hoping that some of my followers will have some VHS stashed away. If you dont have any VHS then you can also help by sharing this status on Facebook or re-tweeting this status on Twitter. Im currently trying to get all the footage together that I have from April - August 1996 for my first DVD that I want to make. LQ stuff includes the girls on Surprise Surprise [11.05.96] & 4:25 [Wannabe performance] [Live TV] [July 1996], interviews on Yo Hi No Dragon [July 1996] [also incomplete], Dear Davina [01.07.96] [also incomplete] & Viva Interaktiv [17.08.96]. Incomplete stuff includes the Ozone interview at Disneyland [July 1996], Wannabe on London Live, PopTV interview. [07.08.96] & a GMTV at Home / Interview piece from July 1996, Missing footage includes Wannabe on This Morning (mentioned in Melanie Bs book), Wannabe on Hotel Babylon, Wannabe on Live & Kicking (maybe) and loads of stuff from the girls visits to Japan in June & July. Thats just the girls 4 months of the girls being an active band. If you have any of this footage and can share it [I know at least the Hotel Babylon performance exists somewhere! - the girls perform Wannabe on a staircase] I am willing to upload my finalized DVD which will have everything I am able to get my hands on from April 1996 - August 1996 and would sincerely love to have a good quality product to share. Between Sam & Craigs SpiceGirlsVideos and I we have shared soooooooooo much - and whenever we ask for anything we dont really get any reply - this will benefit everyone as I will end up sharing the finished product. Please please please, if you have anything you feel is from early 1996 [April - August] then please SHARE IT! If you have access to the ITN archive that has the Dear Davina & London Tonight appearances - please let me know! I really would love to have a video diary of the girls from then up to now and I will be working on achieving this. If I get help for the first DVD, I will post what we need for the second DVD [Starting from September 1996] & so on. I know it will be impossible to get everything and I never would expect to, but to be able to get even a few of the videos we need would be great.
