OK - so I finally decided to try making the kitty condo using a box and a t-shirt. It took less than 10 minutes and it was a success with the kitties. - I used a bankers box (you can get 10 for $15 at Walmart). I decided to leave the handle hole on the back open (which the kitties LOVED) - I cut a hole in the front of the box, where the t-shirt neck would be. - I stretched the t-shirt over the box and tucked the arms in on the sides (although seeing how much the kitties like playing peek-a-boo I think I will cut two small holes on the sides and leave the arm holes open) - On the back I just tucked the shirt under the lid and used binder clips to secure the shirt at the hole, but I will probably secure it a little better later Toffee checked it out before letting the boys go in, Then Sundance and Cassidy got to play in it. I was going to put a cushion in it so they can sleep in it, but I think I may need to have one for sleeping and one for playing. Also need to make some for Socks and Bella. For Mary Kennedy, Debbie Willey, Becky Prazak, Janine Gentry, Jennifer Turpin, Linda Luna, Pamela Kurowski Davis, Barbara Bowen Doty, Leann Sweeney, Lynne Silva Ryan, Ellery Adams, Brittany Honeyman, Rebecca Hensley and my other friends who are owned by cats...I think your kitties would like one of these too :-)
