OK-- so I got a new printer/scanner and was going through some old pictures. I found these photos of the one dog who made the deepest, most profound impact in my life. His name is Buddy--- and I rescued him from a crappy pound in Princeton, MN. Because of Buddy - I was introduced to the world of dog rescue. I was honored to have him in my life for about 12 years and it tore my heart into a zillion pieces when it came time for me to say goodbye to my old senior who took his last breath in my arms in 2003. This gorgeous German Shepherd was dumped at the pound like yesterdays trash-- I guess he kept escaping and the former owners were tired of it. Their loss was my gain. He was truly a treasure and he changed my life forever. Just wanted to share some beautiful pictures of Buddy with the world. In honor of Buddy, I am happy to say that I have, over the years, fostered, rescued, found new homes for and adopted at least 80 dogs and cats. I am beyond fortunate and grateful to have experienced the unconditional love that each of these precious animals brought into my life!
