OK FB Friends.....I have an issue with this laptop, not internet related either. It came with a Nvidia 860 2gb gfx card. I use AutoCad, Revit and Solidworks and couldnt afford a work station so I figured this would do. Well....I noticed that this laptop is getting REALLY hot when using the programs, I even have a large fan cooler under it and last night it got so hot it killed Revit. I tried screwing in the Nvidia CP to make sure it was the primary gfx card being used, and it said it was. But I still was having issues. So I went into the laptops CP and then device manager and started poking around with the display adapters. its still running EVERYTHING through the integrated card, so I disabled it thinking it would default to the Nvidia.....nope, shut off all my video outs (I have a 27 monitor plugged in through hdmi for drafting) and made the laptop screen primary again and is runing off of something other than the Nvidia. Its really making me made because I need it for homework, and I dont want to fry it. Help please :/
