OK: Have now just about sorted my new Apple iMac. At first it was rather daunting as there are so many changes from my old one which now only allows a “Safe Boot” This means I’ve lost a lot of powerful tools. However the old one’s hard drive is still OK so no data lost. Now, with this new one, I’ve had to unlearn most of my methods with PhotoShop but am now getting used to the latest version. A lot more complicated but once the initial moves have been practiced, it’s not so bad. Had to get a new external DVD drive and convert the thunderbolt out-sockets with a nine pin firewire converter cable attached to a nine to four pin camera cable.
